Scottish First Minister Hosts Summit on Minority Issues, Receives Bhagavad Gita Gift

On Wednesday, 23rd April, the First Minister of Scotland convened a special summit dedicated to addressing the concerns of minority communities across the nation. In his opening remarks, he delivered a heartfelt speech emphasizing the importance of unity in diversity, highlighting Scotland’s commitment to inclusivity and mutual respect.

Throughout the summit, the First Minister listened with openness and humility as representatives from various minority groups shared their experiences and concerns. His receptive approach was widely appreciated by attendees, fostering a spirit of genuine dialogue and understanding.

Following the discussions, the First Minister was warmly presented with a copy of Bhagavad Gita As It Is by Prabhupada Prana Dasa of ISKCON Scotland. The presentation was made in the presence of other members of the Scottish Hindu Foundation (SHF), symbolizing a gesture of cultural sharing and goodwill.
